Mary Louise (Lawson) King (1928-2019)

Brief Bio – Mary Louise Lawson, the daughter of George Hubert Lawson, Jr and Hattie M. Wright, was born on February 17, 1928 in Chattanooga Tennessee. Louise, who became an AKA sorority sister while attending Hampton Institute, graduated with a BS on May 13, 1949 and married George W. King on August 18, 1949. Louise died at her home in Tampa, Florida on June 5, 2019 at the age of 91 with her husband of 69 years by her side.
